Overview

IrisTrackR is a real-time, cloud-based patient tracking solution built specifically for medical teams supporting endurance events. It enables field medics, EMS personnel, and command staff to log, monitor, and analyze medical encounters from any point on the racecourse.

Core Features

Real-time patient encounter logging: Time-stamped records of complaints, vitals, treatment, and disposition. Immediate entry of medical incidents, including triage, treatment, and disposition.

Live command dashboard and real-time synchronization:  Command center view for incident monitoring and resource allocation, also shows live patient activity. Real-time synchronization between aid stations and command staff.

Custom field builder: Customizable fields and filters to match race requirements and provide key metrics like hospital transports, non-medical issues, and more

Cellular dead zone: Offline sync built-in, support for other networks, including Ham Radio

Security & Compliance:

  • HIPAA-conscious design (note: not for PHI unless covered by event-specific protocols)
  • SSL encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted data at rest
  • Audit logging for all user and system actions

Pre-race setup assistance: Form configuration, user setup, test run

Race day support: Live virtual standby support available

Post-race reports: Customizable reports and data exports for post-event analysis and documentation

Platform & Deployment

Primary platform: iPads are recommended for field use (available for rental or can be provided by the user)

Hosting options: Cloud-hosted (AWS, GCP) or self-hosted deployments are available

Offline functionality: Saves data locally and syncs automatically when connectivity returns.

Interface: Web-based, mobile-friendly Single Page Application (SPA)
